Our Schools

We serve students of all ages, all backgrounds, and from every Ward in the District.

Pre-K

Our Pre-kindergarten classrooms are multi-age, typically hosting 8 three-year-olds and 11 four-year-olds.

Lower School

Our PreK-4th grade graders engage in fieldwork and community service, culminating in projects that demonstrate mastery of standards.

Middle School

Middle School offers a rigorous program aligned with DC and Common Core standards, challenging and supporting every student.

High School

With a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio, each student receives tailored instruction that challenges and supports every student.

Whole-Child Development

We believe in educating the whole child by addressing their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs. Our comprehensive programs in character education, arts, fitness, and wellness ensure that students are well-rounded and prepared for future challenges.

100% College Acceptance

Since our first senior class graduated in 2012, every Capital City graduate has been accepted to college. This remarkable statistic underscores our commitment to college readiness and the effectiveness of our academic programs.

Upcoming Career Fair

Capital City has partnered with the DC Public Charter School Board, along with other DC charter schools, to hold DC Charter Career Fairs! This series is designed to connect education-focused job seekers with opportunities across charter schools throughout the District.

We will host a fair from 4-7pm on Wednesday, April 23 at Capital City, 100 Peabody St. NW, Washington, DC 20011.
